Just so you know:
In the year 2000, there were the following number of reported Legal abortions in the United States:
642,170 Abortions
Want another shocker? 131,484 of those were by girls ages 18 and under.
Sadly enough, 4,537 of those abortions were by girls under the age of 15.
In the years of 1986 and 1987 there were 2,681,783 abortions commited.
In 2002 there were 4,021,726 reported live births. Unfortunately, there were also 1,293,000 reported abortions that year.
Fortunately, the rates of abortion have been dropping since 1990. However, To have over 1,000,000 abortions in 2002 is unnacceptable. The sad part of the matter is this: Only 2% of unmarried women at any age place their child for adoption.
This is not acceptable. It's time for us to start changing some laws.
